ceramics skills have already become his mother tongue ,employed instinctively in his works .When he turned his gaze away from the contemporary art movement back to his own surroundings ,he discovered the aesthetic content of everyday objects ,and the philosophical embodiment of a profound traditional Chinese cultural meaning in these ordinary things .Lu Bin’s sensibility for this type of philosophical aspect is very deep – in his celebrations there is a desolation , he feels strongly and compassionately for China’s traditional and folk culture .He wages his lonely “nationalist” campaign with a sense of powerlessness and compromise ,laughing about it in a relaxed ,humorous way .(Editor )
