1978 graduated from the Sculpture Department of Guangzhou Fine Arts College

1976 apprenticed to Master Wu Zaosheng to learn the making of the traditional pottery glazes of Shiwan and the techniques of throwing as well.

1974 employed in Shiwan Artistic Ceramics Factory, Foshan, Guangdong Province, engaged in firing, preparation of raw materials, glazing and molding
