Born
in Yugan County, Jiangxi Province, Baiming is a lecturer at the
College of Fine Art of Tsinghua University. He is also a member of
China Artists Association (CAA), a member of China Oil Painting
Society (COPS) and a member of International Academy of Ceramics (IAC)
of NESCO. He is the art majordomo of China Ceramic Art Net
www.artcn.net. In addition, he
also serves as guest editor of Jiangxi Fine Arts

host of Jiangsu Art Monthly and "Bai ming Talking on Ceramics"
in Beijing Daily, editor-in-chief of the Ceramic Art Volume of
The Time of Design; A Report of famous Designer Studios in
China. In the year of 2001,Bai Ming spent half a year in the
United States working, lecturing, and exhibiting at the
invitation of Clay Studio in Philadelphia and several U.S.
universities. He was invited to give lectures in
Switzerland and held exhibitions there the following year. He
independently undertakes the research of " The Tradition
Crafts of Porcelain Making in Jingdezhen"of Project 985 of
Tsinghua University |
