TECHNICAL STATEMENT
1.Slices of plastic,
Coloured clay are stuck together, The adhesive is
fluid clay with the addition of colour.
Cross-cut a laminated plastic block of clay, The laminated
block is cut again into slices. and stuck together
again so to create new patterns. These patterns can
be extended by adding new colours and even increase
more new colours. So one can work a piece on the
wheel and include a slice of the laminate, and throw
further, to make a bowl.

2.The bowl must be scraped out in order to reveal
the pattern clearly.
The bowl is painted with a relief motif before it is placed
in the kiln to be burned.

3.Laminated material for a platter, The laminate is included.
The material is rolled out in the appropriate thickness,
placed over a plaster form, trimmed and dried. The
platter is painted with motifs in relief and burned.

4.Plastic clay is placed on a
sheet of plastic.
The clay is rolled out in the right thickness, A plaster form
and the clay are rounded so that the clay is shaped,
Then the plastic sheet is removed. The dish is
leveled up on the wheel and allowed to dry. Surface
and the edges are trimmed and prepared for painting.
It is painted, and fired. |
