ARTIST'S STATEMENT
From thousands of shapes that exist in the universe, the
artist chooses the few, which he identifies with, and
through them, creates his personal vision on the world. The
reason behind that choice is always complicated, often
involving historical, emotional, expressional, conceptual or
social factors etc., that interrelated so that the artist
can select his own formal vocabulary.
I try somehow to respond to an unjust, unbalanced and chaotic
world with a piece of work, the main obsession of which is
order, balance and compositional arrangement, together with
a subtle and varied relationship between all its parts, i.e.
form, texture and colour.
To do so, I use that I call "silent geometry", a geometry
that does not involves play, or combination of typical forms
of common geometrical problems, in any way. On the contrary,
it involves a geometry loaded with expression, the end
result of my own quest and particular vision of the world.
So, in my work, I speak everything that hat influenced me
,different cultures, travel, landscape, specialty that of
my native land. I also speak of architecture through which I
have been able to combine my need with formal expression .
My work, although some pieces may not appear so at the first
sight, is absolutely intuitive in its conception, then
progresses through reflection until its final stage.
