In my research, the
interesting aspect of the experimentation is
the use of a contemporary material such as
the Styrofoam, especially in an old field of
ceramics, where clay or plaster are
generally used. Let me achieve a new
expressive aesthetic language in my works,
due to the kind of approach I have with the
Styrofoam material.

Experimentation moving from this type of
research towards a modular type structure,
where their combination allows the creation
of objects with a wide variety of shapes .

The system of ceramic modular elements used
in the wall coverings of the evangelical
Church in Savona (Italy), is an example of
how the four, mass produced modular elements
allowed the surface to be organized like a
music score, where the rhythms and the
pauses characterise, allowing the light to
play its role with the effect of light an
shadow.
But, the most important result of this
research was the achievement of two self
bearing blocks which can be coupled together
and that constitutes the “key” of the
system.

This system is made up 0f four elements
which al low non-static sculpture to be
created;a
sculpture which is in motion and which can
be arranged according to the use required of
it and the requirements of space around it:
sculpted walls, vertical sculptured
structes, single-standing or multiple
sculptures.
A flexible, modular sculpture that can solve
the problem of urban architectonics and
those of the aesthetic provisions of the
space it is destined to.
