TECHNICAL STATEMENT
|
|
Folds of the reality.
The reality is more believable than its representation
By this reflexion and after several attempts, I found the way to
stamp this smooth movement of folds who lies on a bed. Those
prints of passion who contribute to emphasize the Passion of
Eva.

1. On a foam rubber where I have
cut previously the silhouette of an apple I place a plastic
sheet. |
2.After that, I nest the
fruit that stays pressed by the foam rubber and the plastic
sheet, producing some natural way of folds. |
|
  |
|
3.I build the retaining walls and
fix them together before preparing the plaster vessel. |
4.With a plaster a little
bit liquid, I make the first registry of all the surfaces. When
it gets harder, I repeat this action in successive layers
letting it harden more between each layer; when obtaining an
approximated thickness of 0.5 to 1 cm, I complete the box slowly
with normal plaster to obtain about 3 to 4cm to have the
resistance for this mold. |

and to assemble for the cast |

8.Electric
firing to high temperature on alumina fiber, which also the
silhouette of the apple has been cut and that serves like a
support to avoid the deformation of the piece. |
